Pretty Little Canal Called Little Venice

I have known the beauty of this place since early February, when i had an appointment for Schengen Visa, as the building (called Battleship Building because that's how the building looks like) was just beside this little canal. Yes, i am going to Milan, the second fashion city after Paris and before London! Even though, that time i had a bad day because it was so complicated to manage the Visa, but the scenery just healed the hard feeling. This place is such a cutie! It's like a watercourse among buildings. From what i have known, it looks like what they have in Venice (I have never been there, but one day i will!). They also have vintage wooden colorful ships to bring you travel along the canal.  

I think i just deserve this Milan treat as i think i have been working so hard in this second term and i just finished the exam on last Wednesday. Everyday was a busy day and i had no time to update my blog whereas i wanted to. I always hanker after updating my blog. I did diligent efforts for home works and practices and my self also engaged in some internships for London Fashion Week. Now i have 2 weeks off and will go to Milan for holiday with my class mates. Can't wait to bring Milan to you by my blog!

A Splendid Beginning

What i have in these photos below is H A P P I N E S S. I have a very electrifying yet surprising week as a starter of the new year. On the 1st day of January an email from Teen Vogue surprised me as they said that i have been hand-selected as a Teen Vogue Fashion Click Featured Blogger and in the very next day Today I Wear team from British Vogue Website emailed me that i have been featured on British Vogue Facebook page. The email from TIW team came along with another email which is the most astonishing news. Believe me, i can't bear to share you about it now, but i can't. But don't worry, I undoubtedly will share it when "that" time comes ;)

Lately i also feel so inspired. Actually, i always open my self to get, my mind to think, my heart to feel and my eyes to see something new & positive surround me. It makes me get inspired easily and i love how the new things effect my life, my fashion and my art works. Tuesday would be the first day of the new term at uni and i am so excited. Maybe this term will be harder than the last one, will be more challenging, will have more difficult and complicated projects, will increasingly make my bedtime less, but i believe that this inspired feeling will make me never get stuck. It is the moment when the "difficulty" is not even a thing because you know that you are not just going to stand still in silence but will be able to overcome it soon. Keep trying like the answer will come after one more effort. I am so curious about what project we will have next!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

2012 will end soon. Time flies unbelievably fast. Looking back, counting the blessings that have been given to me. It was 2 years ago when i dreaming to study fashion in London and now....Here i am. Of course not in an easy way, it needed so much effort and i feel my personality, skill and mentality deeply shaped during the process. This is the biggest blessing i got in this year. Not only the present (that i got accepted in London) but also everything about it (the process, the pain, the joy, the failure and the success and how all of them shape me). 2012 is such a splendiferous year! 

Overjoyed. I see hope. I see future in the coming year. I have planned so many things to do for my education purpose, even not only in the fashion industry. Before stepping into that level, i realize that i should manage my self first. Ourselves are the axis. We couldn't do things right if we are not right. 

Usually, i note down my resolution every new year's eve and i will pray for it. I personally think, a new year is not a perfect time to decide to change but to commit to change. It is never easy to change, but just keep coming back when you start going out of the track again and it all will work. Inspire yourself with any positive thing.

Evaluate yourself, be thankful for the blessings, feel deep into your heart and let's make a resolution for the new year and keep believing that you will be not a same person anymore.

All About Christmas (1)

What would you do if you have a chance to go back to your hometown for Christmas, but this is also your first time in London and they offer you Christmas decorations everywhere you go, Christmas markets, Christmas shows,Winter Wonderland, etc? Yeah, i am not going back to my hometown this Christmas. Of course the decorations, markets and shows are not the main reason. Of course if truth be told i want to spend Christmas with my family. Besides the ticket price is costing the earth, it is also because my holiday is just 3 weeks. Moreover, i have many holiday homeworks. So i have planned to just go back on Summer where i would have a longer holiday. Sadly, this is also my first time spending Christmas far away from my family.

I stay here only with my brother. We are going to break the loneliness and make the happiest Christmas day. As there is a Christmas market near my house, we went there for lunch and took some photos. I do love Christmas markets. They have pretty-decorated-stalls, carrousel, churros, burgers, gummies, mulled wine, vintage books, hats, fake snow, christmas tree decorations, etc. One thing i am still waiting for is snow. Most of my friends said that it wasn't as beautiful as what you think, but i just too excited! We'll see! :)
